overlooking the medieval hilltop village
of
Preggio. The garden is over an acre in size
with mature trees, shrubs, and flowers which attract a myriad
of butterflies. From the gazebo, alongside the ten metre swimming pool,
there are vistas encompassing
the distant mountains, and shores of Lake Trasimeno.
The
very spacious accommodation sleeps up to six people. It consists
of two large bedrooms, one double and one twin.
The
third
smaller
bedroom has twin beds.
There is also a sitting room with
a wood-burning stove on this floor.
On the ground floor, the large,
terracotta tiled sitting room has a oak beamed
mantelpiece with open fire and stone hearth. French windows open
onto two separate terraces. Through a roman brick archway there is
a large dining/kitchen with barbeque oven. gas/electric cooker
and a range of units and cupboards.
From here, a step down takes you into a glazed terrace garden room,
where you can also dine. Outside is a tree-shaded terrace for eating
al fresco.
There
is a small utility room with fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board.
A bathroom with bath, washbasin, bidet and toilet upstairs and a shower
room with basin and toilet downstairs complete the accommodation. |
